Individual and Couples Counselling, by Registered Professional Counsellor Jessa Turner (CPCA #4268)

Making healthy changes in life can be difficult when experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, job stressors, and other challenges.

A journey through the intricacies of mental health reveals the profound impact of compassionate counseling. Behind every session lies a commitment to fostering healing and growth, ensuring clients feel supported and understood.

My goal is to help you gain a new perspective and provide you with skills to help you move forward in life. I will work collaboratively with you while using tools from different modalities to help you learn to cope with your challenges and stressful situations, working to overcome. My hope is to help you connect with your inner strengths and values, resulting in finding your full potential and connecting with your true self.

We will go slow and not rush as this is your journey to walk and I am a trusted confidante to help you along your way.

Professionally, aside from being a Registered Professional Counsellor, I also work in outpatient psychiatry on a casual basis in an admin role and am a mental health worker. I do contract work for the Immigration and Refugee Board as well in the role of Designated Representative.

I’ve been an advocate for mental health in the community for many years, most recently petitioning the need for the mental health cars for the Lower Mainland which were put into place in 2023.

My understanding of hope comes from my own journey and my understanding of how to help others comes from both my education and my professional experience in the field. I look meeting you soon.
