Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional challenges, and difficult life experiences. I support clients who may be struggling with anxiety, overwhelming emotions, relationship challenges, life transitions, or the effects of stressful or traumatic experiences.
My approach is calm, patient, and supportive. I focus on building trust and helping clients feel comfortable expressing themselves, understanding their emotions and experiences, and developing practical, healthy ways of coping.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in intensive case management roles supporting vulnerable populations. This experience strengthened my understanding of how trauma and difficult life experiences can affect our emotions, relationships, and everyday lives.
I take a flexible, supportive approach to counselling and meet each client where they are. I aim to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported as you navigate the challenges you’re facing.

My path to becoming a counsellor has been shaped by lived experience and a deep curiosity about how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate our lives. Born in South Africa and raised across the UK and British Columbia, moving between cultures shaped my understanding of safety, belonging, and adaptation.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT), registration #3218.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, anti-oppressive, and neurodivergent-affirming. I also integrate somatic and nervous-system practices to help you better understand patterns and responses that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
I work with adults, children, teens, couples, and families around concerns including trauma, identity, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ experiences, relationships, emotional regulation, family dynamics, and life transitions.
I aim to create a space where you can slow things down, feel understood, build greater self-trust, and create more choice in how you relate to yourself and others.
Online counselling is available across British Columbia. Free 20-minute initial consultation.
